Song Study: Sussudio by Phil Collins

After extensive repeated listening I have determined that the song is about a girl named Sue Sussudio or possibly Sue Sue Sudio. (If she had married Phil she would have become Sue Sue Collins — not nearly as cool.) Either that or he would be willing to sue the Sussudio Corporation for that girl if she would just say the word. I also determined that they used drum machines and the gated drum effect way too often in the 80’s.
