A New Website, A New Adventure

Welcome to Mark Starlin Creative Depot. It is official launch day. I am excited to be starting a brand new online adventure. I previously created and published the Better Guitar website, which had a long 15 year life span on the web. I learned a lot about creating websites and content over those years. But mainly what I learned is I enjoy creating content far more than coding webpages. I also learned that creating and maintaining big websites like Better Guitar demand more time than I can give and still pursue other creative activities. 

But I also realize that I need a creative outlet to maintain my sanity (or what is left of it.) So I am launching markstarlin.com. It will feature the three creative things I do most: music, guitar, and writing. I’ve organized the website into three “blogs” on those topics. There is also a Media page where I will post music and videos. 

I am calling it my “Creative Depot.” It is sort of like an old railroad freight depot. New stuff comes in, stays around for a while, then moves on down the line. Only my freight is stuff like music and words. 

This just the beginning. There is more exciting stuff to come. I hope you’ll stop by often.
